50 Cent blames Kevin Federline for the predicament troubled pop star Britney Spears currently finds herself in. The hip-hop superstar believes Spears would still be enjoying her phenomenally successful pop career if she had never met her now-former husband Federline.

And 50 Cent thinks Spears' public downfall - including wayward behaviour such as shaving her head before a recent rehab stint - wouldn't have taken place if Britney had avoided her dancer/rapper ex.

He says, "I think she brought too many people in. Kevin whatever his name is, who is he? She made him a star. She should have left his ass in the closet, then he would have stayed and everything would have been exactly the way it needed to be."

Choreography superstar R.J. Durell was spotted with Britney Spears Thursday night leaving Opera nightclub in L.A. But in an exclusive interview with 24Sizzler.com, R.J.’s agent Julie McDonald says the pair’s relationship is platonic, and in fact, he’s working with Britney on her performance for the MTV Video Music Awards, being held Sept. 9. This marks confirmation of her performance, even though MTV has not confirmed or denied the performance.

“They’re working together,” McDonald told 24Sizzler.com Friday afternoon. “He is co-choreographing her performance for the VMAs with Nick Flores, who worked with her as dancer before, so he brought R.J. in.”

McDonald tells 24Sizzler.com that R.J. and Britney make a great choreographing couple: “They’re very good at what they do,” she said. “They’re young and fresh. He’s very talented.”

She adds that this will hopefully kick off the beginning of a long-lasting working relationship. “Hopefully it will work out well, and they’ll work together again. We hope this continues.”

As for the specifics of the performance, which has yet to be officially confirmed by MTV, McDonald says, “It’s being kept under wraps.” She adds they began working together “a couple of weeks ago” and they’ve been spending time together “rehearsing the number.”

And is their relationship more than just friends or co-workers? “I would doubt that,” she said.
